Who we are

The New Forest Marathon Community Fund, works in synergy with the New Forest Marathon. Money raised goes back into the community to help support projects that inspire activity.

Why run for us

Obesity and inactivity are currently the 4th biggest killer in the UK, it is estimated that 62% of the adult population of Hampshire and 1 in 5 children entering school are overweight and obese. We work with community Groups across the New Forest to put on an event to inspire all ages to be active through the New Forest Marathon. In turn, we help each of these amazing groups plan projects to get more of their members active and to encourage wider participation across the community.View the New Forest Marathon Community Fund Page for an example of this in action and to see exactly how vital this funding is.

Who we are:

By supporting Southampton Hospitals Charity, you can keep it there. We work hand in hand with University Hospital Southampton to raise the additional funds they need to stay at the very forefront of modern medical care. That might mean providing state of the art machinery and cutting-edge equipment. Funding vital drugs tests and research projects to improve treatments. Or kitting out new facilities and rehabilitation units to help patients get better, quicker.

Why run for us:

With your help we can enhance care, experience and outcomes for thousands of patients every year. Like you, we want our local community to thrive, and we know that healthcare plays an important role. By supporting Southampton Hospitals Charity, you’re making sure your local hospital continues to lead the way in providing the best possible care for patients and their families.
